LUKE 15:11-32 is God’s story of a young man who desired his inheritance from his father and had his father give it unto him but he wasted it all. Hardship drove him to his senses, can you see, hear and experience the hardship in the world today? Failing and failed economies, life threatening and oftentimes destroying climate conditions, politicians manipulating people, failed and failing marriages, just name them. The world has no solutions for all these. The only solution is to come back to your CREATOR and FATHER, THE ALMIGHTY GOD.
In GOD’S story, as seen in verse 17&18
“AND WHEN HE CAME TO HIMSELF, HE SAID, HOW MANY HIRED SERVANTS OF MY FATHERS HAVE BREAD ENOUGH AND TO SPARE, AND I PERISH WITH HUNGER”
I WILL ARISE AND GO TO MY FATHER”
You see the key to a lasting solution to our problems or challenges is to arise and go to our FATHER: THE ALMIGHTY GOD.
The way to do this is through HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, who HE gave us as stated in JOHN 3:16
“FOR GOD SO LOVE THE WORLD (cosmos: the world of men) THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE”
EVERLASTING LIFE HERE MEANS TO HAVE EVERLASTING ONENESS WITH GOD, AS IT WAS AT CREATION, WHEN GOD SPOKE IN GENESIS 1:2 AND DID IT IN VERSE 27
“And GOD said, let US make man in OUR image and after OUR likeness and let them have dominion”
Now the dominion GOD gave man at creation is so that man can rule and be in control. But because man was deceived into sin (disobedience to GOD) man is now controlled by things: hardships
JESUS is the way back into our GOD given dominion (being in control)
Through JESUS CHRIST;
1. We are restored to our oneness with GOD which is everlasting life, GENESIS 1:26-27, AND THIS MAKES US GOD’S CHILDREN AND MASTER.
2. We are put back in dominion which means through JESUS CHRIST we can now control situations & circumstances, so that instead of being destroyed by them, as people are constantly being affected negatively because of hardships, Christians are to take control over these things and put them under control.
Come to yourself now and arise and go to your FATHER and your GOD through JESUS CHRIST simply by saying this prayer.
“OUR FATHER AND GOD, THANK YOU FOR JESUS CHRIST.
I NOW RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR.
THANK YOU LORD FOR I AM SAVED FROM DEATH AND NOW I HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE IN JESUS NAME, AMEN “
